A curious epicure, the space for exchanging food and the ecology of consumption runs through her work, with her role in events often taking that of a symposiarch. Her research approach is and interdisciplinary, infused with an emphasis on the creation of a space in which critical conviviality can take place. By that it is meant, attention to and appreciation of the unique space afforded by bringing people together to listen and exchange, and in which a change in perspective and approach can be a possible outcome by virtue of an hospitable and reciprocal methodology.
