Alessandra Cianetti

Alessandra Cianetti is a London-based curator, creative producer, writer, and researcher. Her work explores urgent socio-political issues with a focus on notions and lived experiences of physical, cultural, juridical, racial, gendered, economic borders.
Currently, Alessandra is the co-director and co-carer of the curatorial platform performingborders (London), and PhD co-programme leader consultant and advisor for the Transart Institute for Creative Research. From 2020 to 2023, Alessandra worked as a curator and project manager for the Bagri Foundation, a grant-giving charity that supports the work of multidisciplinary artists from Asia and its diaspora. She is part of the steering group of Intoart-Artists Direct Change, an equal platform for emerging visual artists with learning disabilities in London, and provides mentorship for Ca' Foscari University students in Venice, Italy.
