TRAVEL IN PEACE, KIT

We share news of Kit Danowski's passage with sadness yet joyful memories.

Anne Michael wrote: "We know life is finite. Why should we believe death lasts forever?”

Kit would nod vigorously, beaming. Kit wrote, "In the future, the future is…" We agreed the post was written in the future and that Kit was a frequent flyer. Kit said time is fake. I said it was elastic. Fellow alum, Abi Tariq recalled the special energy Kit, then Chris, brought to us while in human form and though saddened by xir departure Abi said he fully trusts that Kit knows exactly what xe's doing

We first knew Kit as a student at Transart. Kit, awarded both MFA and PhD, went on to write over fifty plays, taught, advised and inspired countless artists. Kit began advising a last Transart student well into xir final days with us. Xe said it was for the joy of it. Xe profoundly changed our minds and filled us with delight. We fully expect xe will continue to do so.

We send you all our love, Kit.
