Sanford Biggers is SCAD's deFINE ART 2021 honoree. Sanford's solo exhibition Contra/Diction is currently at the SCAD Museum of Art’s Walter O. Evans Center for African American Studies. The exhibition brings together works from the past 20 years of his practice. Contra/Diction will be on view through August 15, 2021.

The SCAD deFINE ART 2021 virtual opening reception and gallery walkthrough will take place tonight at 7 p.m. Eastern with hosts Kayli Carter (B.F.A., performing arts, 2015) and Mojo (B.F.A., sequential art, 2015). The SCAD grads will premiere new exhibitions at the SCAD Museum of Art, offering exclusive views of work by renowned artists, including Sanford's exhibition.
