Rachel Epp Buller: keynote at symposium Attuning to Climate: Listening, Walking, Acting, in Edmonton, Alberta
Dr. Rachel Epp Buller (Transart MFA 2018) was the keynote speaker at the “Attuning to Climate: Listening, Walking, Acting” symposium in Edmonton, Alberta, October 16-18, 2024.
Her keynote, “Walking as a Climate Move” was accompanied by a presentation of “Winter Walking,” an 8-channel sound piece she created in Edmonton during a Fulbright fellowship in 2022. She and Dr. Sheena Wilson are currently leading a project that explores walking and other embodied methods of learning as modes of attunement and climate action, research funded by the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
