Morgan O’Hara: LIVE TRANSMISSION, ON STAGE, an exhibition of O’Hara’s drawings are currently on view at Roll and Hill and www.magdalenakeckgallery.com. The works represent live music and dance performances recorded by the artist in real time.

The seismograph-like drawings, performed in real time, capture the normally invisible, fleeting movement patters of music and dance performance. Condensed graphite line combines the controlled refinement of classical drawing with the unbound sensuality of spontaneous gesture.
