> January - Slota will be in Leipzig to perform at the In Parallel Spaces festival 
> March - Slota will be at Oklahoma University for a performance and artist talk
> April - Slota will a multi day performance at the Art Without Audience festival in Ravensburg
> Slota is remixing a live performance by KuK, it will be released on CD in the spring. 

Duet with violist Marie Takahashi, Fourth Floor, Tokyo

Japan

In the spring Slota spent a creative month and a half in Japan. While there he did 5 sound performances and 5 public performances including collaborations with Marie Takahashi, Yukari Misawa, Yumiko Yoshimoto, and Jonathan Saxon. Slota also created a new noise performance for the opening of a solo exhibition by Laure Catugier at the Palais des paris residency.

Ticking Bomb, Musrara Mix Festival, Jerusalem, Israe

Musrara Mix Festival

Slota was invited to present two new performances at the Musrara Mix festival at the end of May. Both were inspired by interrogation and torture,Verschärft essenwas a small private performance for a group of 7,Ticking Bombwas staged outside for the festival going public.

Primal Uproar, Hamburg, Germany

Primal Uproar

Slota created a voice based improvisation for the Primal Uproar festival in Hamburg. The festival takes place on a retrofitted fish processing ship named Ms. Stubnitz.

Tempting Failure, London, England

Domestic Communication

For the Tempting Failure festival Slota created a sound performance that used the electromagnetic radiation of household objects to create a harsh soundscape.

Powerful Secrets 

For the Elementa project, which took place during Berlin Art Week, Slota created a new solo performance titled Powerful Secrets.
