Your first tuition payment is due, along with your Transart Registration Forms, on the date indicated in your acceptance letter. Your tuition rate is fixed with your first tuition payment.

+ When is the deposit due for the MFA and PhD programs?
The deposit due date will be indicated on your acceptance letter.
+ How much is the Deposit?
The tuition deposit is $1,100 USD. This amount goes toward your total tuition balance. You can make your deposit here.
+ Do I need to make a deposit for Pre-Flight Scholarship to attend the Academy?
The Academy does require that you make a deposit upon acceptance to the PhD program as your commitment to the program the Preflight Scholarship will prepare you to attend.
+ Is the deposit refundable?
The deposit is non-refundable. We have a limited number of students that we can accept into our programs. The deposit is an indication of commitment to attending the program. Once you have secured your spot with the deposit, we will not be able to refund that deposit.
+ After I submit my deposit, what’s the next step?
After we receive your deposit, you will receive an invitation to register with Transart Institute. Registration includes submitting additional documents and making your first tuition payment. The due date of your registration will be indicated in your invitation.

+ When is the first tuition payment due?
Your first tuition payment due date will be included in your invitation to register. You must choose a payment plan here and submit the Tuition Terms Agreement Form when you subscribe to your payment plan. Your tuition rate is fixed with your first payment.
+ What are the payment plan options?
Explore tuition payment options for semester and yearly plans here. Please note that semester tuition payment options are required for student loan recipients. We are only able to accept Sallie Mae for US students at this time. We are NOT able to accept FAFSA/Federal loans.
+ When are tuition payments due?
For the semester plans, payments are due three times a year beginning June. These dates apply to both students who are receiving loans as well as self-funded students. For annual payment plans, tuition is due once a year in June. You will be set up to make these payments automatically through our payment processing system. + What if I need to make a change to my payment plan?
If you need to make a change to the schedule of payments or the type of plan you have selected, please contact tuition@transartinstitute.org. We will assess your situation and see how we can help.

+ What type of loan does Transart Institute accept?
For US-based students: Our programs can only accept loans from Sallie Mae. Please confirm that you have been accepted for a Sallie Mae before continuing in the registration process by emailing a copy of your loan approval to tuition@transartinstitute.org. You must be a US student to be approved for a Sallie Mae Loan.

For Canada-based students: Our programs can accept Canadian Student Loans and Grants. You can apply through your provincial or territorial student aid office. During the application process, you will need to send forms requiring institutional completion to tuition@transartinstitute.org. Please be proactive and find out what is required of Transart and LJMU.
+ I was approved for a Sallie Mae loan. Now what?
After you are approved for a student loan through Sallie Mae, your information will be sent to our partners at LJMU for processing. After you complete the LJMU registration process in September, the loan funds you've requested will be disbursed to you in full via direct deposit. You will receive your loan in three installments per year in September, January, and April. After you receive your first disbursement, you must enroll in a semester payment plan via our online payment processing system.
+ Does Transart Institute provide scholarships?
We are unfortunately unable to offer scholarships at this point in time. However, it is possible to obtain scholarships and funding independently and our tuition team will always be more than happy to assist you with any paperwork you may need to present to potential funders or to obtain reimbursement from an employer.
