Part A:
1. Portfolio: Websites and digital files only. Portfolio should contain documentation of an accomplished body of work and recent praxis. Include work which will give an indication of the direction you see your work heading.
2. Personal Statement: What are the themes and interests that guide your artistic praxis? How do you see your work in relation to contemporary culture? What do you want your art work to communicate? How you would like your praxis to develop? (300 to 600 words (approx.).
Part B:
3. CV or resume: Please include all post high school or baccalaureate study work undertaken.
3. Transcripts and Diplomas: Donau University requires accepted students to submit originals of their diplomas (no transcripts). For transcripts not in English or German please provide a translation.
5. Project Plans: Outline for your first year. Describe your art and research project. Please include a list of books and other resources you intend to use for your first research project. Briefly describe how your research project will inform your art work.
Contact: Applicants will receive an informal phone call from a faculty member to answer questions and discuss the applicant's goals.
Criteria: Applications are evaluated by a committee on basis of: Achievement (what's been accomplished in artistic and curatorial work); Potential (for growth and creativity); Independence (of thought and way of working); Interest in engaging in discourse, developing relationships and contributing to the TI community.
Advanced Standing: It is possible to get credit for up to one year of graduate work from other graduate level institutions pending transcript review. Students with advanced standing will need to complete a minimum of two summer residencies and two semesters of independent study preparing their master thesis and their final media art or curatorial project(s). Students with a full year's advanced standing are required to attend the weekend long New York Winter Residency, which is optional for all other students.
First degree: It is possible to be accepted into the program without a first degree. These applicants will be considered individually and, if relevant, an individual supplementary course of study will be arranged prior to commencing the program. A minimum age of twenty four years, a first degree level portfolio and equivalent work experience are required.

Private Student Loans
For US-citizens or students with a US-citizen co-signer. Danube University is now a registered foreign school whose students are eligible for private student loans through the International Education Finance Corporation.
