For many years, Robin Dupuis has been an active contributor to the development of the Media Arts practice in Canada, notably via his involvement with the Montreal-based organization, Perte de Signal of which he is one of the co-founders. In the past, he has held the position of program officer in the Media Arts section of the Canada Council for the Arts and the position of director of the Quebec Media Arts State of Affairs in 2008. As a practising artist, Robin Dupuis
has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Mexico, the United States, Morocco and in Europe. In Canada, his work has been presented by Séquence, an artist run gallery in Chicoutimi, the Ottawa Art Gallery, Oboro as well as the gallery Optica in Montreal, among others. His video works has been screened in many international events such as the Berlin Transmediale, the Rotterdam International Film Festival, the Viper International Festival in Basel, and Elektra in Montreal. Robin Dupuis holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia
University, 1997 (film studies) and a Masters Degree in Media Arts from UQÀM 2001. He lives and works in Montreal.
